I tried with VMWare Pro 16.2.3 build-19376536 and indeed, it appears in “Recoverable” state within Synology Assistant and it loops when trying to recover… Really wierd.
I will investigate…

I followed every step and it gets stuck at rebooting; run find.sysnology.com again, it tells me that hard disk is migrated and needs recovery but it gets stuck again at rebooting.

No, we couldn’t find the root cause. Really wierd as I created a new VM again recently and didn’t experience any issue…

I was using 00:0C:29:18:2F:B5 but it was a random one. I did generate another MAC address right now for testing purpose and it’s still runing fine… And no idea why yours is in recovery mode. I never experienced such an issue…
